HackNelson sold out in 2017, this year it's back and NYP has jumped on board in collaboration with this fantastic event. We are excited to announce that we have secured 15 discounted tickets for our members to attend this fun, fully catered, weekend event of learning, networking and improving business practices in the Top of the South.
"Hack" is a modern term to describe getting shit done fast. HackNelson is about innovation, creativity and exploration around a theme – this year the theme is responding to the challenges of sustainability in business. This is your chance to improve Top of the South's largest businesses environmental practices (with companies like Nelson City Council, NZ King Salmon, NRDA, Sealord and Tasman Bay Foods participating). You don't necessarily have to know anything about computers, business people and creatives are needed - and that is why NYP is getting involved!
HackNelson runs over 14-16 September, from 4pm on Friday. Teams of 5-8 people form at the event (no need to be in a team to register). It's a non-profit event and we are sure it will be one to remember.
